Based on a wonky tug boat called Annie in West London with Oliver and our daughter Harper-Rose, two cats, Arnold and Madame Cholet and a gang of friendly geese – I’m a freelance florist, writer, events designer and stylist running Gypsy Rose Flowers.

I’m hoping to use this site to amongst other floral things, ramble about roses, bore you with boat life and keep you posted with current work and spatterings of things I love (there are lots).

Firstly flowers – The Gypsy Rose vibe is to bring them to life with an air of mischief and fun. Whether it’s embracing the unique of every day to creating rooms bursting with blooms, weddings with a vintage feel, eclectic set design for parties or styling for private events, in my book a cornucopia of colour rules.

I’ve had the privilege of working with some brilliant people, from lovelorn pups buying romantic posies, to festooning trees with blooms for huge fashion shoots, flowers for films and and creations for costumiers.

My experience has seen me popping up at The Shop at Bluebird, creating for The Sanderson, Cliveden, Bungalow 8, The Groucho Club, Browns, Soho House and Claridges and more to intimate dinners at Bistroteque and Julies, weddings, photoshoots and parties all over London and the UK. All for people who agree, flowers are indeed lovely things.
